RESET BUTTON

We are copying an idea by the Belchers...
In the interest of time-saving, we have consolidated the Speed Family blogs into one place.

(Though Rik will also still be posting individually in his normal locales.)

Delete your bookmarks, and replace them with this...

MOTOR-BOY

Picking up an unfriendly stomach bug from his brother, Boris has been alternately puking and sleeping continuously for two days.

This is his first day back to normal (though he did get tired pretty quickly).

You'd never know he's been sick...look at that kid...

Apparently, the proper technique to blowing bubbles involves taking careful aim...

Look how tall and thin he's getting...

Compare that picture to this one from 5 years ago...

I'm sure it's okay if I cry a little bit now, right..?

OZYMANDIAS DID IT

Walking him into school yesterday, Boris asked me what would happen if the fire station caught on fire.

I loved this question because it's very observant and curious and interesting.

He was basically asking...

Who rescues the rescuers?
Who saves the saviors?

Which of course, leads to...

WHO WATCHES THE WATCHMEN?!?

Austin Ahoy!

So, it's 7:oo in the morning, and what better way to start off a mini family vacation than with an all new Rubik's Cube!?

As you can see here, Boris got some pretty sweet shades for the trip! (that's Yoda in the corner, by the way)

The first leg of the journey was rained out, so we took to the Capitol building for some fun and adventure!

This is outside the building... um... yeah...

Boris told us that these flowers were Blue Bonnets, and that he had learned all about them in school! Very exciting stuff!

Toy Joy was one of our first stops the second day, and probably the highlight for the boys!

Then again, Zilker Park was fun too. After all, they did get ballon animals. Well, Boris got an airplane, but still...

Robyne came up first thing in the morning of day two, making the trip perfect! The boys, of course, had to ride home in her car, making faces and taunting the whole way!

The definition of a candid shot!

Could he be more beautiful?

At the Arboretum sporting some binoculars and a bag of 'treasure.'

Everyone fell today during our Sunday outing...

Yes, that's a tear folks...

But don't worry, it takes a lot more than that to stop this kid! *wink*
